Granada Street

This charming split-level home has been the family home for years. When the time came for improvements, the homeowners approached S4S to develop some ideas on how to improve the first-floor plan.

We focused on making the kitchen more functional and professional to match the homeowner’s passion for cooking and entertaining with family and friends. The concept quickly revolved around providing new space for additional equipment, so we changed the original galley kitchen into a large kitchen with an island.

The design also addressed circulation throughout the first floor and included the staircase to the second floor. The staircase, which was not originally part of the program, began to take on a character of its own and became a feature element in the final design.

Final Product:
The completed project included changes to the entire first floor and involved opening some narrow passageways to improve circulation. All of this resulted in a new home experience that has become a hub for entertaining and family gatherings.
